My education included a year in the Work/Study Program where I worked as Stagiare and Plongeur assisting career classes; setting up mise en place for demos; conducted inventories; made stocks and created Skills Handbook for career and avocational work/study students.

My education also included an externship with Elka Gilmore at Kokachin in New York , where I rotated through all the stations and banquet, learning Elka's French inspired Asian cuisine and having my first experience in a professional kitchen.
